Studio Scenes | July 2024

I can’t believe July is nearly over. It has been a busy month and I am excited to share some of the things I have been working on!
On the site
I am in the process of transitioning my site to a new platform. Hopefully this will work out a few kinks that have been happening behind the scenes. With this transition, I plan to discontinue some of the older prints. You will be able to purchase during a Last Chance Print sale in August before the prints will be retired. More information to come!

Earlier this month, I launched my new canvas collection. The detail and quality of the canvases is incredible and I know you are going to love them! I can’t wait to see all the ways they grace your walls. The below prints have been a few collector favorites.
In the Studio
This month has allowed a bit of time for experimenting with new mediums and texture. I have been creating the below crosses as special commissions, but will have a full collection of them coming in Autumn. They may also make an appearance in this year’s Christmas Collection.
On the bookshelf
This month I have flown through the books and audiobooks! I have completed a few Abby Jimenez books and the much anticipated The Next Mrs. Parrish, which sadly was a huge disappointment for me. While painting I love listening to audiobooks and can sometimes finish a few per week. Some of the ones I completed this month were Fourth Wing and Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and The Little Liar by Mitch Albom, all of which were fantastic. Do you have any good recommendations?
I am also interested in starting a good podcast. What are you listening to?
In the kitchen
I confess, that I have done very little cooking lately. We are getting back into Fall sports and our first day of school is August 1st. Everything that we are making is fast and easy. Last week, I tried this recipe for Sesame Chicken. Instead of making and breading the chicken, I swapped for Bare Nuggets and I doubled the amount of sauce. It was a hit!

It is crazy to think that the holidays will be here before we know it. Next month will be spent prepping for my annual Christmas Collection, I hope to bring back a few favorites and also include a few new exciting pieces!
As always, thanks for being here and for your constant encouragement! Have a great rest of July!
